Kid Fresh mix

Palms Out Sounds just got a jaw-dropping mix from Kid Fresh, who is a German dude living in Shanghai…the mix is short but dense, and super eclectic. My kinda shit. You can download it here.

Bob James - Nautilus

One of the most sampled tracks for hip hop beats, ever. Instantly recognizable.
I just bought a nice re-edit of the original by the Shoes crew, over at TurntableLab.
My favourite use of the track has to be “Daytona 500″, chopped up by the RZA, with verses from Ghostface, Raekwon, and Cappadonna:
